Learning outcomes

  • Separate optimistic percentage-complete claims from measured progress.
  • Document why a line is held, reduced, or certified.
  • Use app workflows to leave an audit trail a colleague can reopen later.
  • Explain retention decisions without relying on informal “almost done” language.

FAQ

Do I need an accounting qualification?

No. QS, site engineering, and AP backgrounds all appear in our cohorts. You do need comfort reading contract extracts and spreadsheets.

Is the app included after the course?

Classroom access is included for the cohort window. Ongoing commercial licences are separate and not sold through this website.

What is a real limitation of this course?

We do not issue formal audit opinions on your live projects, and we cannot train you to override legal advice when contract wording is disputed. Packs also lean toward civil and fit-out examples; pure marine works receive fewer illustrations.

How much time should I reserve weekly?

Plan on roughly five focused hours: two live, three on claim packs. Night-shift staff often spread the pack work across quieter mornings.

Reviews from this course

Module 3’s app tagging exercise exposed how our team skipped measurement attachments. Dry in places, but the critique circle in Module 6 was worth the evenings.

★★★★☆

Amelie’s retention examples matched our subcontract forms closely. I wanted one more interior renovation pack; otherwise clear.
